 Dallas United Methodist Church

Open hearts. Open minds. Open doors.

Church Specific Missions

Service Opportunities at Dallas UMC:  There are many ways to provide help around our church.  Ringing the bell announces and calls all to worship, ushers and greeters provide our first line of hospitality to everyone  who come through our doors, hosting fellowship time continues that hospitality after worship, clean-up and maintenance around the church keep us safe and looking our best, and helping with the Community Kitchen shows our concern for our neighbors and those in need.  These are just a few ways we can work for the Lord!  If you would like to help just let us know—talk to Pastor Jeremy, or call the church office and we’ll help you get started.

Children’s Church

In response to the survey taken last spring, children’s church will begin this fall for children ages 3-7.  During the sermon, the children will leave worship for a special program.  They’ll return for the closing hymn.

We’re seeking people to help one time per month.  If you are willing, please contact Jeremy.

  • Picnic Table Refinish Project

The Trustees would like people to help with the refinishing project of our picnic tables!

Anyone who would like to help or knows someone who would like a volunteer job, please let us know.

The tables could be delivered to your home to be worked on, and picked up when finished! Please talk with any of the Trustees—Jean Rogers, Jeanie Chapin, Roy Miller, Mel Hutt, Eric Olsson, David Reimer, Ken Brown, or Dan Dusschee. You may also call the church office for more information, 503-623-2481.
